mixed martial arts & self defence
Adult classes last 1 1/2 hours.
The classes will always include;
warm up & stretching
technique training
drills on pads and/or focus mitts
partner(s) close range drills
warm down
The classes may also include, applicable to experience of student. a mixture of any of the following;
patterns and combinations
defence drills (sparring)
breakfalls and throws
weapon defences
role play/attack drills
fitness & strength exercises
board breaking
floor work/grappling
Doboks (uniform) or KKD t-shirts must be worn.
Bare feet or martial arts shoes.
Groin guard and gum shields advised.
Focus mitts and pads etc provided.
Some protective sparring gloves/mitts etc available - studdents advised to provide their own protective equipment
